Job summary

The Salvation Army Wellington is seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to assist adults with intellectual disabilities in daily living, helping them participate and be independent in line with Enabling Good Lives Principles. You will support residents with daily tasks, meals, medication, and a clean, safe living environment.

Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications, a Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence, a clean criminal history, and 3+ years’ experience, plus a cheerful, adaptable

• Have or be willing to obtain relevant industry qualification/s.
• Hold a Full Class 1 Drivers License.
• A Clean Criminal History.
• At least 3 or more years’ experience in the industry.
• Have a sense of humour.

About the Role:

To assist and encourage residents in their daily living, at required performance standards, with a focus on maximizing each resident's participation and independence in alignment with the Enabling Good Lives Principles

What will your responsibilities be but not limited to:

• Clean and Tidy Work Area
• Support our people

Our ideal candidate will:

• Have or be willing to obtain relevant industry qualification/s

This role is –20 hours variable hour's contract

Thestarting hourly ratefor this role will fall between$29.90 and $30.97
