The Salvation Army, Addington Hostel, is seeking a Casual Support Worker to join the 24-hour hostel team. The role focuses on night and weekend coverage to support other staff, with residents who are male.
You will participate in medication support, safety, and everyday duties within a compassionate care environment. Ideal candidates will have a Level 4 Health and Wellbeing certificate, or be close to completing Level 4, and at least 1 year of related experience in mental health, addictions,
The Addington Hostel has been providing ongoing 24 hour care and housing support for approximately 130 years. It is part of the range of Transistional housing options that focuses upon the particular housing needs for Men who have had recent involvement with Corrections , Mental health and Addictions services.
The Support Workers, are an essential part of our 24 hour hostel team. There is always Support Workers onsite across the day and night. Due to an internal appointment, we are needing an additional Casual Support worker with a particular ability to help cover Night and Weekend shifts, when other permanent staff are on leave.

The starting hourly rate for this role will fall between$29.90 and $30.97 depending upon your qualification
