Job summary

FIRST Security, part of the Wilson Group, is seeking a hands-on Parking Enforcement Supervisor to support our team across Picton and Blenheim. You will supervise Parking Attendants, oversee daily car park operations, conduct compliance checks and breach notices, carry out patrols, and help with rostering, reporting and client communications.

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, with a valid NZ Class 1 licence and the ability to lead under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory, team leader or similar role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
• A current full NZ Class 1 Driver’s Licence.
• Training or experience in conflict resolution and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and support Parking Attendants to deliver great customer service and follow procedures.
• Oversee daily car park operations and parking enforcement activities.
• Conduct parking compliance checks and issue breach notices alongside your team.
• Carry out regular patrols and identify any safety or security concerns.
• Check parking machines, gates and other equipment, carrying out minor maintenance where required.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and disputes professionally.
• Assist with rostering, staff allocation, reporting and general administration.
• Keep communication flowing between the Operations Team Leader, Parking Attendants and clients.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Parking Enforcement Supervisor to support our Parking Enforcement Services team across Picton and Blenheim.

Duties:

• Supervise, train and support Parking Attendants to deliver great customer service and follow procedures.
• Oversee daily car park operations and parking enforcement activities.

What You’ll Need

Further Details

• Pay rate: $33 per hour
• Hours: 5 days per week, Monday to Saturday, 9:00am–5:00pm
• Location: Supporting sites across Picton and Blenheim
• Vehicle: Company vehicle provided for work use
• Team: Supervising two Parking Attendants per day
