Job summary

Mitre 10 in Auckland is seeking a Store Business Partner to champion our brand, drive strategic initiatives, and help stores deliver exceptional customer experiences across multiple locations.

This store-facing role partners with Store Leaders and the Support Centre to drive performance, coach teams, optimise operations, and ensure brand standards while enabling growth. Travel will be required; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in retail with 5+ years in big box or multi-site management.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L, budgeting and business planning experience.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel and work across multiple locations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Power BI advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Store Leaders and Members.
• Provide strategic business advice using data and market insights to drive profitability and growth.
• Interpret financials, manage budgets, and optimise store operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices across the network.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety, Trade, Loss Prevention, Inventory teams to deliver integrated support.
• Support Members through store transitions and development approvals, ensuring brand continuity.
