Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Albany is seeking an experienced leader to run the Trade operation, overseeing Trade Support, Trade Administration and floor teams across Auckland. You’ll drive exceptional customer experiences, accurate order fulfilment and strong team performance.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll partner with key stakeholders, optimise stock availability, safety and workflows, and contribute to the Albany leadership team in a fast-paced, large-format retail environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in trade, building supplies, construction or large-format retail.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience leading and developing teams.
• Excellent relationship-building with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Experience managing operational processes, inventory and fulfilment activities.
• Hands-on leadership style; practical and active.

About the Role

Reporting to theStore Manager, you'll lead the operational performance, customer experience andday-to-day execution of our Trade business. You'll lead our Trade Support,Trade Administration and Trade floor teams, ensuring exceptional customerservice, efficient order fulfilment, strong team performance and effectiveday-to-day operations.

Working closely withkey stakeholders across the business, you'll help ensure a seamless experiencefor trade customers while leading the people, processes and operations thatsupport our Trade function.

This is a hands-onleadership role. We're looking for someone who enjoys being in the business,building capability, improving processes and supporting their team to deliveroutstanding outcomes for customers.

Day-to-day you'll:

• Lead,coach and develop a high-performing Trade team

You may currently beworking as a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Building Supplies Manager,Merchant Manager, Trade Services Manager or Senior Department Manager within alarge-format retail or trade environment.
