Job summary

Mitre 10 is seeking a Store Business Partner to champion our brand, drive strategic initiatives and help stores deliver exceptional customer experiences across New Zealand. Ideal candidates will be based in the Bay of Plenty with flexibility for travel to other regions.

The role partners with Store Leaders and the Support Centre to drive store performance, operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement, while coaching teams to realise sustainable results.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in retail and multi-site management.
• Strong commercial acumen with P&L, budgeting and planning experience.
• Excellent communication, coaching and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Store Leaders and Members.
• Provide strategic business advice using data and market insights to drive profitability.
• Support stores in interpreting financials, managing budgets and optimising operations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and share best practices across the network.
• Collaborate with specialist teams (Health & Safety, Trade, Loss Prevention, Inventory).
• Support Members through store transitions and development approvals, ensuring brand continuity.
