Job summary

EcoChill is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Taupō, Waikato, Tauranga and Auckland. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships and supporting revenue growth with a strong emphasis on profitability.

You will collaborate with estimating, project management, installation and service teams to move opportunities from first engagement to handover, while expanding partnerships with key customers and franchise

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, account management or technical sales in refrigeration/HVAC or related industries.
• Relationship-focused with strong commercial acumen and ability to work across large regions.
• Ability to identify customer needs and tailor solutions to secure long-term partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Autonomous yet collaborative with operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities across commercial refrigeration markets.
• Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline across key sectors.
• Build and manage relationships with major clients, franchises and retail chains.
• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for services and solutions.
• Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals and tenders.
• Coordinate with estimating, project management, installation and service teams for handover.
• Maintain CRM reporting, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Promote EcoChill at industry events to strengthen the brand.
• Identify emerging markets and support strategic growth.
• Drive revenue growth while maintaining gross profit targets.
