Placements24 is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing, negotiation and contract management in Queenstown. You will drive cost efficiency, quality and timely delivery by building strong supplier relationships and applying procurement best practices.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement within manufacturing or industrial settings, with excellent negotiation, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills. On-site position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business Admin, Supply Chain, Finance).
Minimum 5 years in procurement/strategic sourcing.
Proven track record in negotiation and contract management.
Strong procurement best practices and market dynamics.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end procurement process: sourcing, RFQ/RFP, negotiation, contract management.
Identify and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Negotiate favorable terms, pricing and delivery with suppliers.
Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships for ongoing supply.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular contract reviews.
Analyze market trends for cost savings and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Collaborate with production, engineering and finance to understand procurement needs.
Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
Contribute to procurement strategies for the organization in Queenstown.
