Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable Procurement Specialist specialized in industrial supplies to join our Queenstown team in a hybrid role. You will manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier contracts to ensure cost-efficiency and quality for our operations.

Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations to define requirements, conduct market research, and secure reliable suppliers. Proficiency with procurement software and ERP is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or Buyer focusing on industrial supplies.
• Strong negotiation, analytics, and vendor-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure specialized industrial supplies, equipment, and services per technical specs.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve value and cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and contract compliance.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and innovative solutions for industrial procurement needs.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and manage inventory levels for critical items.
