Job summary

Maruti Solution Limited in Waikato is seeking a responsible Store Manager to run the day-to-day operations, ensure smooth service, and uphold high standards of performance and presentation.

You will manage stock, budgeting, pricing, staff recruitment and training, and health and safety compliance, while driving sales and customer satisfaction. The role requires at least 1 year of experience or a Level 5 qualification, and a willingness to work at least 30 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or a minimum Level 5 qualification.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Physically able to stand and be active throughout the shift.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations to ensure efficient service and profitability.
• Plan and maintain product range, stock levels and service standards.
• Establish and implement store policies and food safety measures.
• Recruit, train, schedule and supervise staff while monitoring performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Prepare and manage budgets, monitor sales and allocate resources to control costs.
• Oversee inventory management and supplier coordination.
• Develop and adjust pricing strategies to meet margins.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness and staff presentation.
• Support marketing and promotional activities to increase engagement and sales.
• Lead and motivate the team with clear objectives and regular feedback.
