Job summary

Farmers Whakatane is seeking an Assistant Store Manager Operations to lead day-to-day store performance, drive exceptional customer service, and oversee stock, labour scheduling, and HR functions. This senior role requires coordinating with the management team to maintain store standards and achieve sales targets.

You will manage duty rosters, train managers, and ensure health and safety, loss prevention, and audit processes are enforced. Weekend work and flexible start times are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong focus on providing and driving exceptional customer service.
• Ability to prioritise workloads to effectively meet deadlines.
• Experience using stock management and labour scheduling systems.
• Experience in motivating managers in a challenging and fast paced work environment.
• Experience in retail management in a large format fashion or homewares environment.
