Job summary

Sephora in Auckland is seeking a Stockroom Assistant (Inventory Control Assistant) to provide day-to-day oversight of the store’s stockroom and support achieving store KPIs while delivering an unbeatable client experience.

You will monitor stock levels, participate in shrinkage reduction programs, handle damages and tester products, assist with regular stock takes and cycle counts, and ensure timely replenishment. The role includes weekend shifts and lifting up to 15 kg.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced retail stockroom or store is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence team members by example.
• Physically able to lift and move boxes up to 15 kg.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stockroom operations and monitor stock levels.
• Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
• Consolidate and process damages, testers and theft products as per policy.
• Assist with regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Replenish stock and monitor aisle presentation.
• Work on a roster, including weekends and early/late shifts.

Monitoring stock levels in conjunction with the Inventory Controller on all inventory items

Monitoring andparticipatingin programs to reduce shortage/loss

Ensuring the process for damages, testers and known theft products areconsolidatedand processed as per company standards

Assistingwithregular stock takes and cycle counting

Keeping an eye on stock levels and replenishing stock as and whenrequired

Working on a rostered basis including weekends, early starts and late finishes

Havepreviousexperience in a similarstock basedrole in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment

Have strong emotional intelligence,communicationskills, and the abilityto influenceteam membersat alllevels by leading by example

Haveasuitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weight up to 15kg

Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
