Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Stockroom Assistant to oversee store stockroom operations and contribute to achieving KPI targets. You will monitor inventory, support shrink reduction initiatives, and ensure proper handling of damaged and tester products.

Ideal candidates have experience in high-volume retail stock roles, strong communication and emotional intelligence, and the ability to lead by example. Physical fitness to lift boxes up to 15 kg is required. Weekend shifts are part of the roster.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stock-based role within a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong communication and emotional intelligence; able to lead by example.
• Ability to influence team members at all levels and collaborate effectively.
• Good physical fitness; ability to lift and move boxes up to 15 kg.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels in partnership with Inventory Controller.
• Assist with programs to reduce shortage and loss.
• Manage damages, testers and theft products per company standards.
• Support regular stock takes and cycle count activities.
• Monitor stock levels and replenish as needed; rostered work including weekends.

Monitoring stock levels in conjunction with the Inventory Controller on all inventory items

Monitoring andparticipatingin programs to reduce shortage/loss

Ensuring the process for damages, testers and known theft products areconsolidatedand processed as per company standards

Assistingwithregular stock takes and cycle counting

Keeping an eye on stock levels and replenishing stock as and whenrequired

Working on a rostered basis including weekends, early starts and late finishes

Havepreviousexperience in a similarstock basedrole in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment

Have strong emotional intelligence,communicationskills, and the abilityto influenceteam membersat alllevels by leading by example

Haveasuitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weight up to 15kg

Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
