Job summary

Sephora is seeking a Stockroom Assistant to oversee the store's stockroom and support inventory control, ensuring efficient stock availability and loss prevention. The role contributes to KPI achievement and delivering an exceptional client experience in a fast-paced beauty retail environment.

You will monitor stock levels, participate in shrink-reduction programs, assist with stock takes and cycle counts, and handle damages and theft procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous stock-based role in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
• Strong emotional intelligence, communication skills, and ability to influence team by leading by example.
• Physical fitness to lift and shift boxes up to 15 kg.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels with Inventory Controller for all items.
• Participate in programs to reduce shortages and losses.
• Process damages, testers and known thefts per company standards.
• Assist with regular stock takes and cycle counts.
• Monitor and replenish stock as needed.
• Rostered shift pattern including weekends, early starts and late finishes.

• Monitoring stock levels in conjunction with the Inventory Controller on all inventory items
• Monitoring andparticipatingin programs to reduce shortage/loss
• Ensuring the process for damages, testers and known theft products areconsolidatedand processed as per company standards
• Assistingwithregular stock takes and cycle counting
• Keeping an eye on stock levels and replenishing stock as and whenrequired
• Working on a rostered basis including weekends, early starts and late finishes
