Job summary

Sephora in Auckland is seeking a Stockroom Assistant (Inventory Control Assistant) to provide day-to-day oversight of the store’s stockroom and support in meeting KPI targets while delivering an outstanding client experience.

You will monitor stock levels with the Inventory Controller, participate in shrinkage reduction programs, and manage damages and testers per company standards. Regular stock takes and cycle counts are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a stock-based role in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong emotional intelligence and communication skills.
• physically fit and able to lift up to 15 kg.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels with the Inventory Controller for all items.
• Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
• Consolidate and process damages, testers and known theft products per standards.
• Assist with regular stock takes and cycle counting.
• Monitor and replenish stock as required.
• Rostered shifts including weekends, early starts and late finishes.

Monitoring stock levels in conjunction with the Inventory Controller on all inventory items

Monitoring andparticipatingin programs to reduce shortage/loss

Ensuring the process for damages, testers and known theft products areconsolidatedand processed as per company standards

Assistingwithregular stock takes and cycle counting

Keeping an eye on stock levels and replenishing stock as and whenrequired

Working on a rostered basis including weekends, early starts and late finishes

Havepreviousexperience in a similarstock basedrole in a fast paced, high volume retail sales environment

Have strong emotional intelligence,communicationskills, and the abilityto influenceteam membersat alllevels by leading by example

Haveasuitable level of physical fitness as you will be lifting and shifting boxes that can weight up to 15kg

Are proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
