Job summary

Comfortech Building Performance Solutions™ in Christchurch is seeking a Specification Manager to join our national Specification and Technical team. You will lead the specification of our Commercial Interior Products and Systems for ceiling, wall, and insulation solutions, while shaping your own role to meet deliverables.

The ideal candidate has experience in interior fit-out, design or construction, excellent networking and presentation skills, and the ability to collaborate with architects,

Qualifications

• The role focuses on interior fit-out, design and architectural segments.
• Keen networker with ability to develop new industry relationships.
• Knowledge of sales planning, budgeting and operational finance.
• Ability to understand customers' business and offer tailored solutions.
• Strong communication at all levels with clear, informative product knowledge.
• Confident and clear group presentation skills.
• Tenacious self-starter and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Identify project opportunities and pursue specification of Comfortech’s interior products and systems.
• Build strong relationships with architects and designers across the South Island.
• Engage with main contractors, developers and industry professionals for smooth delivery.
• Provide technical assistance and solutions with the technical team and partners.
• Present products and systems to architects and designers with information and support.
• Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into sales.
