Job summary

Auckland City Neuwell International Holdings Limited is seeking an energetic SME Business Development Manager to grow its footprint in the New Zealand small and medium‑sized business market. You will identify new SME customers in Auckland and across New Zealand, promoting POS, EFTPOS and digital payment solutions.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, a self‑starter attitude, and the ability to work towards sales targets while collaborating with operations, technology and support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, merchant services, or payments.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Confident in approaching business owners and building new relationships.
• Knowledge of New Zealand SME market is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new SME customers across Auckland and New Zealand.
• Promote POS, EFTPOS, payment, and digital solutions.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations, and merchant visits.
• Develop relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline from prospecting to onboarding.
• Develop referral and strategic partnerships.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, technology and support teams.
• Aim to meet customer acquisition and revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing SME customers and grow opportunities.
