Job summary

Mondiale Vgl Pty is seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to drive growth in the New Zealand SME market in Auckland. You will identify new SME customers, promote POS, EFTPOS and digital payment solutions, and lead product demonstrations and merchant visits.

The role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, ability to work toward sales targets, and the capacity to build a robust sales pipeline while collaborating with operations and support teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development and B2B sales in the fintech/payments sector.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to meet sales targets and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new SME customers across Auckland and wider New Zealand.
• Promote our POS, EFTPOS, payment and digital business solutions.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations and merchant visits.
• Develop relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through to onboarding.
• Develop referral and strategic partnership channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work closely with operations, technology and customer-support teams.
• Achieve agreed customer acquisition and revenue targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing SME customers and identify opportunities for further growth.
