GY Construction Limited in Auckland, New Zealand, is seeking an energetic SME Business Development Manager to expand our SME footprint in FinTech/Payments. You will target restaurants, cafés, retail, and other service businesses with POS, EFTPOS, and digital payment solutions.

Location: Auckland, New Zealand. Employment Type: Full‑time. Industry: FinTech / Payments / POS Technology. You will build a sales pipeline, conduct meetings, and establish long-term merchant relationships to drive growth.

Formación

• Experience in business development, B2B sales, merchant services, payments, POS/EFTPOS, telecommunications or technology preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident in approaching business owners and developing new relationships.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working toward sales targets.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and acquire new SME customers across Auckland and wider New Zealand.
• Promote our POS, EFTPOS, payment and digital business solutions.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, product demonstrations and merchant visits.
• Develop relationships with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through onboarding.
• Develop referral and strategic partnership channels.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Work with operations, technology and customer-support teams.
• Achieve customer acquisition and revenue targets.
• Maintain relationships with existing SME customers and grow opportunities.
