Bleeker Weith Engineering in Timaru is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team. The work covers structural projects, machinery repairs, transport and marine work, along with alloy and stainless-steel jobs.

You’ll need to be confident in your trade, take pride in your workmanship and be someone others can rely on.

Qualifications

• Experienced and skilled Welder/Fabricator.
• Able to read plans and drawings.
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Reliable, practical and safety-conscious.
• Able to work independently and take ownership of your work.

Responsibilities

• Work on structural projects, machinery repairs, transport and marine work.
• Weld and fabricate using alloy and stainless steel.
• Read and interpret plans and drawings to ensure correct fabrication.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient and quality-focused work environment.

SKILLED WELDER / FABRICATOR

Bleeker Weith Engineering are looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Timaru. The team is down-to-earth and experienced — people pitch in, share knowledge and get stuck in to get the job done.

The work covers structural projects, machinery repairs, transport and marine work, along with alloy and stainless-steel jobs. You’ll need to be confident in your trade, take pride in your workmanship and be someone others can rely on.

About you:

• Experienced and skilled Welder/Fabricator
• Confident working with steel, alloy and stainless steel
• Able to read plans and drawings
• High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
• Reliable, practical and safety-conscious
• Positive attitude and willing to pitch in
• Able to work independently and take ownership of your work

What’s on offer:

• $30–$40 per hour, based on skills and experience
• Overtime available, including double pay
• One-off, specialised and challenging projects
• Opportunity to develop your skills and take on new challenges
