Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder (SMAW) to join a busy project team in New Zealand. The role is hands-on, fast-paced and requires pride in quality workmanship. NZQA Level 4 SMAW certificate, Confined Spaces ticket, and at least 5 years of stick welding experience are essential.

You will perform fabrication to drawings, operate welding equipment safely, and contribute to a team-oriented environment. NZ based, project with solid hours and PPE provided.

Qualifications

• NZQA Level 4 Welding Certificate (SMAW) is mandatory.
• Confined Spaces Ticket required.
• 5+ years of stick welding experience.
• Strong fabrication skills and ability to read drawings.
• Reliable, punctual and safety conscious.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on fabrication and welding in a busy project team.
• Interpret drawings and ensure quality workmanship.

• Own transport preferred
