Job summary

Qualifications

• Experienced or Trade Qualified Welders / Fabricators - TIG experience.
• Confidence working with mild steel and aluminium (stainless a bonus).
• Ability to draw up plans and bring them to life.
• Health and safety conscious.
• Great communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate high-quality components and specialised equipment and projects, including stairs, ramps, platforms, frames and tanks.
• Read and interpret detailed drawings, fabricate to precise tolerances.
• Deliver workmanship of the highest standard, across diverse materials.
• Maintain a guaranteed 40-hour work week with overtime available.

Role:

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a skilled Welder Fabricator to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for welding and fabricating high-quality components and specialised equipment and projects, including stairs, ramps, platforms, frames and tanks. You will work across a diverse range of materials including mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel, specialised high-temperature stainless steels, and alloys. The work is varied and technically engaging, requiring the ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, fabricate to precise tolerances, and consistently deliver workmanship of the highest standard. A guaranteed 40-hour work week is offered from Monday to Friday, with overtime available. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with a respected New Zealand company known for quality, innovation, and technical excellence.
