Job summary

RobLawMax Recruitment seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for a Queenstown civil land development project. You will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, manage crews and subcontractors, organise plant and materials, and coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers and clients.

You will ensure NZ HSEQ compliance, conduct toolbox talks and site inspections, maintain quality records, and report on progress. The role is hands-on across active sites with additional hours to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising civil construction or earthworks projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of NZ Health and Safety requirements.
• Ability to read plans and manage site quality processes.
• Experience with site reporting and safety systems.
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and quality.

Due to their growth, they are now looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join their newly created team in Queenstown.

The Role

Initially you will be working on a large land development project covering earthworks, drainage and civil. You will be responsible for overseeing day to day operations on site, managing crews, subcontractors, organising plant and materials while coordinating with Project Managers, Engineers and clients.

This is a hands-on role based across active construction sites, with occasional extra hours required to meet project deadlines.
