Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a confident Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site in Invercargill. You’ll be hands-on, visible across the site and take real ownership of the operation.

You’ll manage staffing, rosters, client contact, health & safety, and daily coverage, with monthly travel to Dunedin/Central Otago as required. Applicants must have NZ driver licence and valid working rights.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the site, including leadership of cleaning and security teams.
• Travel to Dunedin and Central Otago approximately once per month as required.
• Manage staffing, rosters, attendance and daily operational coverage.
• Serve as the key operational contact for the client and ensure contractual outcomes.
• Conduct quality inspections and take action where improvements are required.
• Coach your team and build capability and accountability.
• Maintain strong health, safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinate specialist cleaning, periodic works and scheduled services.
• Manage equipment, machinery and site resources.
• Respond quickly to incidents and operational issues.
• Find smarter ways to improve productivity and service delivery.

The Role

Millennium is looking for a confident, hands-on Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. You'll be visible across the site, leading your teams, working closely with the client and taking real ownership of the operation.

You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions, improve how we work and build a high-performing team – with the support of an established wider operational team behind you.

Sunday-Thursday: 5:30am-3:00pm

Annual Rate: $65000

The Role

• Must be available and willing to travel to Dunedin and Central Otago approximately once per month as required
