Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a confident Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site in New Zealand. You’ll be visible on site, own the operation, and drive improvements with support from a larger operational team.

You’ll manage rosters, staffing, safety, and client relationships, with travel to Dunedin and Central Otago as needed. Competitive annual rate offered plus career progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead cleaning and security teams across the site.
• Manage staffing, rosters, attendance and daily coverage.

• Conduct quality inspections and drive improvements.
• Coach teams to build capability and accountability.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinate specialist cleaning, periodic works and scheduled services.
• Oversee equipment, machinery and site resources.
• Respond quickly to incidents and operational issues.
• Travel to Dunedin and Central Otago approximately once per month as required.

The Role

Millennium is looking for a confident, hands-on Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. You'll be visible across the site, leading your teams, working closely with the client and taking real ownership of the operation.

You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, improve how we work and build a high-performing team - with the support of an established wider operational team behind you.

Sunday-Thursday: 5:30am-3:00pm

Annual Rate: $65000

The Role

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of the site, including:

• Must be available and willing to travel to Dunedin and Central Otago approximately once per month as required
• Leading, supporting and developing cleaning and security teams.
• Managing staffing, rosters, attendance and daily operational coverage.
• Being the key operational contact for the client.
• Ensuring service standards and contractual outcomes are consistently achieved.
• Conducting quality inspections and taking action where improvements are required.
• Coaching your team and building capability and accountability.
• Maintaining strong health, safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinating specialist cleaning, periodic works and scheduled services.
• Managing equipment, machinery and site resources.
• Responding quickly to incidents and operational issues.Finding smarter ways to improve productivity and service delivery.
