Job summary

Millennium Services Group is seeking a confident Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site in New Zealand. You’ll be visible on site, own the operation, and drive improvements with support from a larger operational team.

You’ll manage rosters, staffing, safety, and client relationships, with travel to Dunedin and Central Otago as needed. Competitive annual rate offered plus career progression.

• Experience leading frontline teams within cleaning, security, or service operations.
• Strong people leadership and ability to get the best from your team.
• Confident dealing directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make decisions and manage competing priorities.
• Practical understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Proactive, accountable approach to getting things done.
• Current New Zealand Driver Licence.
• Applicants must have valid working rights in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Lead cleaning and security teams across the site.
• Manage staffing, rosters, attendance and daily coverage.
• Be the primary operational contact for the client.
• Ensure service standards and contract outcomes.
• Conduct quality inspections and drive improvements.
• Coach teams to build capability and accountability.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinate specialist cleaning, periodic works and scheduled services.
• Oversee equipment, machinery and site resources.
• Respond quickly to incidents and operational issues.
• Travel to Dunedin and Central Otago approximately once per month as required.
