*$80-100k salary*
*2 years experience minimum*
We are working with an established commercial construction contractor looking to strengthen its project delivery team with a capable construction professional who understands how buildings come together on site.
This is a particularly good opportunity for a Site Manager or technically minded site professional who wants to broaden their career beyond day-to-day site supervision and develop stronger experience across engineering, coordination, procurement and project management.
Sitting within the project team, you’ll remain closely connected to site delivery while gaining exposure to the technical and commercial elements that sit behind a successful build.
Rather than being purely office-based, you’ll work across site coordination and project administration, including monitoring construction works, working with subcontractors, reviewing short-term programmes, managing RFIs and technical documentation, coordinating shop drawings, inspections and ITPs, tracking procurement and supporting quality and compliance.
The position also provides exposure to subcontractor procurement and administration, progress reporting, defects, certification and project handover.
If you’re currently running work on site but want to develop into a more rounded project delivery role, this could be a great next step.
We’d like to hear from people with:
The formal brief calls for a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent, 2+ years' experience, technical focus, problem-solving, communication, critical thinking, planning and reporting capability.
If you’ve built your experience on site and understand vertical construction, this is an opportunity to use that practical knowledge while developing further across technical coordination, programming, procurement, quality and broader project delivery. The role works across the project team, QSE team and commercial/financial functions, giving it considerably broader exposure than a traditional site-only position.
You’ll also receive training and upskilling around the contractor’s integrated management systems and project processes.
