Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Surfacing Foreman to lead roading and surfacing crews across the Waikato region. You will coordinate daily operations, supervise crews, and ensure high standards of quality and safety on site.

Ideal candidates have proven leadership in roading/surfacing, strong communication, and a commitment to safe working practices. This role offers weekly pay and opportunities for leadership in a growing roading team.

Formación

• Experience leading roading/surfacing crews.
• Knowledge of roading and surfacing operations.
• Hold Class 1, 2 and 4 licences and WTR endorsements.
• Strong leadership with safety focus.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Surfacing Foreman to lead crews on roading and surfacing projects throughout the Waikato region.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in the roading industry who is confident managing crews, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise surfacing crews on roading projects.
• Coordinate daily work activities, equipment, and personnel.
• Oversee asphalt and chipsealoperations.
• Ensure work is completed to required quality and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity and keep projects running efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with site managers, contractors, and crew members.
• Provide hands-on support when required.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading crews in the roading or surfacing industry – essential.
• Strong knowledge of roading and surfacing operations.
• Class 1, 2 and 4 driver's licences.
• WTR endorsements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage crews and work to project deadlines.
• A commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, motivated, and confident making decisions onsite.
