HEB Construction is seeking an experienced Asphalt Manager to lead our Auckland asphalt surfacing business following an internal promotion.
This is more than an operational management role. We're looking for a proven roading and surfacing leader who can provide direction, build capability, strengthen client relationships, and continue driving performance while maintaining the practical, hands-on leadership style that our teams value.

The Opportunity

Based from our Wiri office, you'll lead an experienced and successful team comprising Project Managers, Project Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, Crew Members, Cadets, Milling and Transport resources. You'll be responsible for the overall performance of the Auckland asphalt operation, including safety, people leadership, operational delivery, commercial outcomes, client relationships, equipment management, succession planning and business growth.

This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing strategic leadership with operational involvement. You'll be expected to set the direction, remove barriers, build strong relationships across the industry, and support the team to deliver outstanding results.
