Job summary

Tradestaff is seeking an experienced Surfacing Foreman to lead roading and surfacing crews across the Waikato region. You will coordinate daily operations, supervise crews, and ensure high standards of quality and safety on site.

Ideal candidates have proven leadership in roading/surfacing, strong communication, and a commitment to safe working practices. This role offers weekly pay and opportunities for leadership in a growing roading team.

Qualifications

• Experience leading roading/surfacing crews.
• Knowledge of roading and surfacing operations.
• Hold Class 1, 2 and 4 licences and WTR endorsements.
• Strong leadership with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise surfacing crews on roading projects.
• Coordinate daily work activities, equipment and personnel.
• Oversee asphalt and chipseal operations.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor productivity and keep projects on schedule.
• Communicate with site managers, contractors and crew.
• Provide hands-on support when required.
