Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator for a part-time, fixed-term role based at the Grenada Village Super Depot in Wellington. The position is 24 hours per week, with a schedule including Monday to Saturday, 2pm–6pm on weekdays and 6.30am–10.30am on Saturdays.

The role supports the Manager in coordinating on-site resources, linking between Couriers, Delivery Agents, Contract Posties, RD Contractors and Box Lobby staff, while upholding safety and a positive team culture through

Qualifications

• Written and verbal communication skills with effective time management.
• Full clean NZ driver''s license (mandatory).
• Self-managing and able to work within a team.
• Able to manage administrative duties with minimal assistance.
• Good level of computer skills.
• Awareness of safety systems and compliance in an operational environment.
• Understanding of transport and logistics is advantageous.
• Able to commit to the fixed term until February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources on site and act as day-to-day liaison between Couriers, Delivery Agents, Contract Posties, RD Contractors and Box Lobby staff.
• Ensure that daily resourcing is in the right place to meet needs.
• Demonstrate a hands-on, safety-focused approach and foster a high-performing, positive team culture.

Kōrero Mō Te Tūranga – About The Role

The Service Delivery Coordinator, whilst having no direct reports, will play a key role supporting the Manager to coordinate the resources on site. Based at our Super Depot in Grenada Village, you'll be the day-to-day linkage between the Couriers, Delivery Agents, Contract Posties, RD Contractors and Box Lobby staff, ensuring that the resourcing for the day is where it needs to be. You will need to be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing, positive team culture. This is for a fixed term until February 2027

Shift Available

• Monday to Friday 2pm - 6pm and Saturday 6.30am - 10.30am
