Job summary

NZ Post in Rotorua is seeking a Processing Officer to sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Rotorua Operations Centre. This fixed-term role offers 21.5 hours per week with Monday 12:00PM–6:00PM and Tuesday–Friday 2:00PM–6:00PM shifts.

You’ll join a collaborative team focused on accurate parcel handling, safety, and timely deliveries. The term runs from 12 October 2026 to 10 February 2027, with a supportive, data-driven work environment.

• Able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at Rotorua Operations Centre.
• Collaborate with couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Support ongoing data-led processes and quality checks.

Our Processing Officers create the magic by sorting, consolidating and dispatching parcels and freight at our Rotorua Operations Centre, ready for our couriers to deliver. We're a lively bunch, with a diverse set of skills, but we all share one common goal - to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our beautiful Aotearoa.
