Job summary

NZ Post is seeking a Processing Officer for a part-time split-shift position at our Avenal branch. You will sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels to support on-time deliveries by our couriers in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Role requires availability Mon–Thu early mornings, afternoons, and Saturday mornings; lifting up to 25 kg; and forklift experience. Night rate allowances apply when applicable.

Qualifications

• Available to work Mon–Thu 3:30am–9:30am and 3:00pm–5:30pm; and Saturday 3:30am–9:30am.
• Restricted driver license / OSH certificate / F endorsement required.
• Full working rights in New Zealand.
• Be physically capable of lifting up to 25kg and maintain safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Sort, consolidate and dispatch parcels at the Avenal branch.
• Prepare parcels for courier delivery and handover to drivers.
• Support a safe, efficient and data-led parcel processing operation.
