Job summary

New Zealand Post in Wellington is seeking a Service Delivery Coordinator on a part-time, fixed-term basis to support the on-site manager at Grenada Village. You will coordinate resources among couriers, delivery agents, posties and staff to ensure daily resourcing is in the right place.

The role requires strong communication, time management and safety focus. A full NZ driver’s license is mandatory as you may drive work vehicles. Fixed term until February 2027 with Tue–Sat shifts.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong computer skills.
• Demonstrated safety awareness and compliance.
• Understanding of transport and logistics (advantageous).

Responsibilities

Service Delivery Coordinator, part time, fixed term $30.78 per hour Monday to Saturday, 24 hours a week Grenada Village location

Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

The Service Delivery Coordinator, whilst having no direct reports, will play a key role supporting the Manager to coordinate the resources on site.

Based at our Super Depot in Grenada Village, you will be the day-to-day linkage between the Couriers, Delivery Agents, Contract Posties, RD Contractors and Box Lobby staff, ensuring that the resourcing for the day is where it needs to be.

You will need to be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach, demonstrating a commitment to safety and fostering a high performing, positive team culture.

This is for a fixed term until February 2027

Shift available: Monday to Friday 2pm - 6pm and Saturday 6.30am - 10.30am

Mōu - About you

• Wow us with written and verbal communication skills and effective time management

• Be self-managing and able to work happily within in a team, and individually
