Commercial Autos Limited - CAL Isuzu Hamilton is seeking a Service Advisor on a fixed-term maternity leave cover. You will be the link between customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth service experience from booking to handover.

Join a busy, supportive team at one of New Zealand’s leading truck dealerships. You will deliver excellent customer service, manage bookings, and keep customers informed on timelines, costs and required work, while supporting the service team in daily coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive/customer service roles.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with computer systems and service scheduling tools.
• Detail-oriented, organised and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Receiving, recording, and managing service bookings and job requests
• Liaising between customers and workshop technicians regarding job progress
• Providing accurate updates on timelines, costs, and required work
• Preparing job cards, invoices, and service documentation
• Maintaining strong customer communication throughout the repair process
• Supporting the workshop and service team with daily coordination
• Ensuring all service administration is completed accurately and efficiently

Our Hamilton branch is currently entering an exciting new phase as we rebuild and transform our Waikato dealership into a modern, state-of-the-art facility — and we are looking for a motivated Service Advisor to join our service team on a fixed-term maternity leave cover.

About the Role

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between our customers and workshop team, ensuring a smooth, professional, and efficient service experience from booking through to vehicle completion and handover.

You’ll work closely with customers, technicians, and the wider service department to help keep jobs flowing efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer communication and satisfaction.
