Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work across both manual and automated testing within a product-focused engineering team, designing thorough test cases and communicating defects clearly.

You will mentor junior testers, support prioritisation, and help improve testing practices while collaborating with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality outcomes. Hybrid office/home balance is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in manual and automated software testing at a senior level.
• Strong experience in test case design.
• Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing best practices.
• Experience working with SQL/databases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly document issues.
• Experience mentoring or supporting others.
• Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB Advanced (desired).
• Experience testing mobile and/or cloud services (desired).
• Experience with coding or scripting to support test automation would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, write and execute detailed test cases based on requirements.
• Identify, analyse and document defects in a clear, reproducible way.
• Assess impact and support prioritisation of issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Contribute to test process improvemets and best practice.
• Provide guidance and support to junior testers.
