Job summary

Gallagher is expanding its Hamilton‑based teams and seeks an Engineering Lead to guide the Support Engineering group. You’ll shape quality and reliability of Gallagher's security solutions, report to the Value Stream Lead, and mentor engineers while tackling complex technical challenges for customers worldwide.

You’ll balance delivery objectives with quality and risk, collaborate across teams, and contribute hands‑on when needed to drive critical projects to success.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and mentoring of engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving and risk management capabilities.
• Experience delivering technical outcomes on large projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority for the team and guide engineering activities.
• Lead investigations and resolve complex customer‑facing issues.
• Balance quality, performance, risk, and delivery objectives in decisions.
• Coach and develop engineers across experience levels.
• Build a high‑performing team through feedback and development planning.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Manufacturing, and Project teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and product quality.
• Support architecture discussions and critical technical decisions.
• Communicate progress to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
