Gallagher is seeking a Senior Test Analyst to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will work across both manual and automated testing within a product-focused engineering team, designing thorough test cases and communicating defects clearly.

This is an opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Working within a product-focused engineering team, you’ll work across both manual and automated testing - designing and executing thorough test cases, identifying issues, and ensuring solutions meet both technical requirements and customer expectations.
You’ll bring a strong analytical mindset, with the ability to investigate, document, and communicate defects clearly to support prioritisation and resolution. Alongside hands‑on testing, you’ll contribute to improving testing practices and support the development of more junior testers.
Key responsibilities include:
Design, write and execute detailed test cases based on requirements
Identify, analyse and document defects in a clear, reproducible way
Assess impact and support prioritisation of issues
Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure quality outcomes
Contribute to test process improvemets and best practice
Provide guidance and support to junior testers
You’re a detail-oriented and collaborative tester who enjoys getting into the depth of how products work. You take pride in delivering quality outcomes and supporting others to do the same.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience in manual and automated software testing at a senior level
Strong experience in test case design
Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing best practices
Experience working with SQL/databases
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly document issues
Experience mentoring or supporting others
Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB Advanced (desired)
Experience testing mobile and/or cloud services (desired)
Experience with coding or scripting to support test automation, tooling, or credential development would be an advantage
