Job summary

Gallagher Security in Hamilton is seeking a seasoned Quality Lead - High Security to drive quality across product development. You will lead a team of test analysts, shape test strategies, and advance automated testing and CI/CD to ensure robust software for government and critical infrastructure clients.

The role blends hands-on testing leadership with people management and risk reduction, requiring strong judgement and collaboration with engineering, product and support teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in software testing or quality engineering within agile environments.
• Strong experience across manual and automated testing practices.
• Exposure to functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, reliability).
• Ability to lead, coach and mentor others and develop teams.
• Strong judgement and communication to assess quality risks.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement and improve quality standards and testing approaches across agile delivery teams.
• Embed quality early into planning, design and delivery with fast feedback loops.
• Champion automation, CI/CD and monitoring to reduce late-stage defects.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Project and Support to remove bottlenecks and improve delivery.
• Lead and mentor quality practitioners, supporting wellbeing and career growth.
