Job summary

The University of Auckland is seeking a dedicated Senior Hub Assistant for the Grafton Student Hub to deliver high-quality front-line services to students. This permanent role supports a busy student journey with supervisory duties for Hub Assistants and a cooperative team approach.

Shift pattern is Monday–Wednesday 2pm–10pm, Saturday–Sunday 9am–5pm, with a salary range of NZ$56,400–NZ$64,700 depending on skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as front-facing first point of contact for services.
• Provide supervisory support to Hub Assistants.
• Coordinate and guide tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
• Engage with tauira (students) in a high-volume environment.
• Support teamwork and maintain service standards.
