Placements24 seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to join a Queenstown team. You will lead structural design and analysis for diverse building projects, ensuring safety, stability, and long-term performance.

Collaborative with architects, clients, and contractors, you will drive efficient, compliant solutions from concept through construction. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, structural specialization.
• PE or Pr. Eng registration desirable.
• 6+ years of progressive structural design experience.
• Proficiency in SAP2000/ETABS/Prokon and CAD tools AutoCAD/Revit.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes; willingness to travel to Queenstown area.

Responsabilités

• Perform structural analysis and design for new buildings and modifications.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications and calculation reports.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure integrated designs.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address issues.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with design intent.
• Respond to RFIs with timely technical support.
• Assess existing structures and provide repair recommendations.
• Stay current with advancements in codes and materials.
