Job summary

Mitre 10 MEGA Warkworth is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead a multi-department operation, drive performance and customer experience in our community store. This on-site, full-time role offers 45 hours per week, a competitive remuneration package and a company vehicle, plus access to a staff purchase scheme across Mitre 10 stores and Columbus Cafés.

You will develop leadership capability, set clear expectations and deliver sustainable results while strengthening local community

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in retail with 5+ years in a senior leadership role or an NZQF Level 5+ qualification aligned to the role.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation of store performance, culture and customer experience with clear plans and visible leadership.
• Provide direction, coaching and accountability to the store’s leadership team and develop succession across departments.
• Build a high-performing, community-focused team delivering sales, margin and market share growth.
• Deliver commercial and operational plans using trading reports, dashboards and market insights.
• Strengthen store operations including stock, fulfilment, merchandising and safety.
• Collaborate with group functions to implement improvement initiatives.
