Proclinical Staffing is seeking a Senior Software Lead to drive software architecture for embedded and cloud-based medical imaging systems. You will lead strategic technology decisions, mentor engineers, and ensure robust CI/CD, testing, and cybersecurity practices across multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires hands-on development experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in software/engineering field or closely related discipline.
• Proven experience leading software development for complex products or systems.
• Hands-on programming in C/C++ and/or Python; strong problem solving and architectural skills.
• Experience with embedded Linux firmware or device drivers; familiarity with CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of software architecture and technical strategies for embedded and cloud-based systems.
• Provide hands-on support for software development, integration, debugging, and deployment.
• Ensure software quality, reliability, scalability, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to achieve project goals.
• Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and development processes.
• Support verification, validation, traceability, and documentation activities.
• Mentor and guide engineers to foster a high-performing engineering culture.
