Job summary
Vista Group is seeking a hands‑on Senior Software Engineer – Team Lead to lead a squad of full‑stack engineers, coordinating and communicating across the team. You will ensure high‑quality code, contribute to architecture and roadmap, and design and implement solutions both independently and with peers.
You will mentor engineers, drive continuous improvement, and partner with the Engineering Manager on interview processes and team growth.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a Team Lead or similar role.
- Strong mentorship abilities and ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience as a senior-level backend software engineer.
Responsibilities
- Motivate and lead the squad, guiding engineers to become self‑organised and take ownership.
- Foster continuous improvement, share ideas and technologies with the team.
- Support learning and growth; mentor new team members and conduct reviews.
- Collaborate with Engineering Manager to establish effective code reviews, design discussions, and processes.
- Lead delivery of high-quality software architecture and solutions.
