Job summary
Westpac New Zealand Limited is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Modernise Contact Centre squad, delivering reliable technology for customers and frontline teams. You will develop and maintain Dynamics 365 CE and contact centre platform solutions, build integrations via APIs, apply CI/CD and automated testing, and mentor engineers.
This is a hands-on role involving coding, architectural input and producing robust production support.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE development experience.
- Contact centre domain knowledge.
- Experience with APIs, middleware, CI/CD, automated testing and production support.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and mentoring skills.
- Nice to have CCaaS, IVR, telephony or enterprise contact centre technologies.
- Financial services or regulated environment experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Microsoft Dynamics and contact centre platform solutions.
- Build and support integrations using APIs and middleware.
- Apply CI/CD, automation, testing and DevOps practices.
- Support production systems and drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to strong engineering practices.
- Active coding and involvement in solution design and architectural decisions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance on an ad-hoc basis.
