Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Site Manager to oversee critical infrastructure projects around Queenstown. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate subcontractors and resources, and ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

The role requires a strong track record in construction management, excellent leadership and communication, and the ability to manage budgets and schedules across multi-disciplinary teams. On-site work with travel to various project locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in construction management, with site management focus.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, commercial buildings).
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations (OHS Act) and quality standards.
• Proficiency reading blueprints and technical specs.
• Willingness to travel to project sites within the Queenstown area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for large-scale projects.
• Direct all on-site activities, including subcontractors, labour, and material procurement.
• Ensure safety regulations, codes, and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site inspections and progress meetings to monitor performance.
