Placements24 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for major infrastructure projects based in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will lead planning, execution, and closeout of roads, bridges and public facilities, ensuring budget, schedule and quality requirements are met.

The role requires a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, professional registration, and at least 9 years of experience managing multi-million rand projects, with strong leadership and procurement capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Civil Eng or Construction Mgmt.
• 9+ years of experience managing multi-million Rand infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership and procurement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of infrastructure construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, budget, schedule, and resources.
• Oversee site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and clients.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
• Monitor progress and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication within the project team.
• Oversee contract administration and financial aspects.
