Job summary

Niche Group is seeking a skilled Site Manager to lead onsite operations across New Zealand. You will ensure work is completed to high standards, on time, and to company specifications, with a focus on safety and quality.

From interpreting plans to supervising subcontractors and maintaining project documentation, you will be a key contact for clients, suppliers, and crews, driving successful outcomes on residential, commercial and civil projects.

Qualifications

• Experience running construction sites.
• Sound knowledge of New Zealand building codes and associated legislations.
• Experience with sub-contractor management.
• 5+ years’ experience in site management, at least 3 of these years based in New Zealand.
• A history of promoting site safety, along with relevant training and certifications.
• Experience with civil, residential, and commercial site management will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite operations to ensure work is completed to the highest standard, on time, and to company specifications
• Accurately interpret plans, specifications and instructions and supervise construction of the works in terms of them
• Manage subcontractor scopes of works, subcontractor sequencing, and daily issues onsite
• Be a key contact with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors and utilise your strong account management skills to help projects run smoothly
• Manage and maintain project documentation and reports, including project controls, progress reports and administration
