Placements24 is seeking a hands-on Civil Site Engineer to oversee construction activities in Queenstown. You will supervise on-site work, ensure design conformance, and coordinate trades with the project team to deliver infrastructure projects efficiently.

With 4+ years of civil construction experience, you will apply strong technical knowledge and leadership to manage drawings, safety, and quality. A competitive salary and site allowances are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma with relevant fieldwork.
• Minimum 4 years of civil construction and site supervision experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with local OHS standards and construction regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Implement quality control procedures and inspections.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project team.
• Monitor site safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Manage site resources to optimize efficiency.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments and permits.
