Job summary

ACC in Wellington is seeking a Senior Response Analyst to handle Official Information Act requests, Ministerial correspondence, media inquiries and business information requests. You will gather, analyse and present information with context and caveats to support informed decision-making across ACC.

The role includes centralised triage for Analytics and Reporting requests, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, and coaching of other analysts.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in analysis, reporting, business insights or data analytics.
• Experience working with customers and stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs.
• Experience analysing, manipulating and presenting data using SQL and other analytic tools.
• Ability to communicate clear, concise written insights.
• Coaching or mentoring other analysts.
• Continuous improvement mindset with process enhancements.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to information requests from various areas inside and outside ACC.
• Gather, analyse and present information with context and caveats.
• Support informed decision-making across ACC.
• Provide triage for Analytics and Reporting requests and allocate work.
• Support the Response Manager with QA, stakeholder engagement and coaching.
